Wii console self aware?

A wii console owned by a japanese kid from Osaka was reportedly turning on and off by itself alone.
At the begining it was thougt to be some kind of malfunction, but after being taken for repairs, it was reported as being totally fine.
Some days after the events, the kid has started to recieve messages on his TV that seemed to be not from the console or the game itself..
Some of those words were suggesting that his console was self aware. The console was reported as saying "Help me!" and "I am not a console!" which was quite scary,like the kid said.
Nintendo denied any of this claims, saying that their console, is still not capable of self-awareness.

After being observed by some japanese specialists, the conclusion was that the console was possessed by some demon,being imediately taken to a local exorcist.
The console is totally fine now, without self-awareness or spirits.
