Denver Broncos Break Record For Most Points In A Season

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — The Denver Broncos have broken the NFL record for most points by a team in a season.

Peyton Manning threw a 63-yard touchdown pass to Demaryius Thomas with 5:37 left in the second quarter to eclipse New England's single-season mark of 589 set in 2007. Denver entered the game needing 18 points to surpass the Patriots' mark.
