Explosives hidden inside fruit carton at market where neighbouring city of Rawalpindi joins Pakistani capital
A bomb ripped through a fruit and vegetable market on the outskirts of the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, on Wednesday morning, killing at least 18 people and leaving dozens more wounded, officials said.
The bomb went off as morning shoppers were buying supplies at a market where the neighbouring city of Rawalpindi blurs into the outer suburbs of the capital.
